  1. Why would you even want to debate Hitchens? He’s the epitome of everything that’s wrong with the New Atheist movement. Flat-out, he doesn’t know enough about religion to be able to say anything meaningful about it beyond attacking religion’s truth-claims. And the arrogant part is that he doesn’t think he should need to know about religion before he knows if it is good or not.

    Debating Hitchens is like getting into a conversation with the drunk, angry ranting guy in the corner of the bar. You can do it, but it’s pretty much a waste of time.

  2. I wouldn’t say brilliant. Maybe it aspires to “clever” at most.

    Interesting article, by the way. Although it does seem a bit panentheistic.
