Eric Mataxas at the National Prayer Breakfast

I’ve mentioned the brilliant biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer written by Eric Mataxas before. It’s an excellent book that I think you should read if possible.

Mataxas carried on the legacy of Wilberforce and Bonhoeffer last week in his speech at the National Prayer Breakfast. You can hear what he had to say by watching the video here. Fast forward to the 35 minute mark. As a bonus, President Obama was allowed to say a few words afterwards as well.

  1. Excellent post Tim! I listed to this Monday after hearing Eric Metaxas on the Hugh Hewitt radio show. Absoluyly amazing! Thank G-d for people like Eric.

Speaking of Hewitt, what the heck does he mean when he says he’s an “Evangelical Roman Catholic Presbyterian”?

  2. I thought Metaxas’s presentation was quite good, much better than that rap video that had some of the same themes.
